I’m Erica Jenkins. For more than twenty years I’ve led product, customer success and go-to-market teams in B2B SaaS, from a bootstrapped startup to a global platform serving 30,000 customers. Now I bring that experience to growth-stage companies as a fractional leader and advisor.

The path here

  1. 2009

    Co-founded Expion

    Bootstrapped a social marketing platform for enterprise consumer brands and ran product strategy, execution and customer success as SVP of Product.

  2. 2015

    Chief Product Officer, Sysomos

    Expion was acquired at $10M ARR. I oversaw seven tech stacks, repackaged the combined platform into five new solutions and retained $50M in ARR.

  3. 2018

    VP of Product, Meltwater

    After Meltwater acquired Sysomos, I defined a new social listening, management and analytics suite for 30,000 customers that grew revenue 200%. Meltwater went public in 2020.

  4. 2021

    Chief Product Officer, Crayon

    Recruited by the founder and CEO of the Series B competitive intelligence company to rebuild the product and engineering organization and move into product-led growth.

  5. 2023

    Erica Jenkins Consulting went full force

    Fractional leadership and advisory work with SaaS companies from $3M to $30M in ARR. To date I’ve worked with 7 companies with an average tenure of 2.5 years. I thrive on solving problems and driving change.

Along the way I led analyst relations and eight Forrester Wave evaluations across three categories, earning leader placements from 2012 through 2023.
